The beloved host of PBS's California Gold Huell Howser gave the commencement speech last Saturday at Pepperdine University in Malibu and, much to his surprise, received an Honorary Doctorate Degree.
Mr. Howser tells his many fans on Facebook, "it's not necessary now to call me Dr. Howser -- Huell will do!"
